These fine thistle seeds are particularly favoured by Goldfinches,and Siskins, but will be eaten by other finches too. They are best dispensed from a niger seed feeder, ideally with a seed tray attached to catch any spillage! I would only recommend the use of this seed if you already get Goldfinch or Siskin in your garden.also you should use a special niger feeder which has smaller dispensing holes.This reduces the amount of seed that can fall out of the feeder!
